Multiple Operations Sentinel workstations can connect to one Operations Sentinel server, with each workstation running one or more instances of Operations Sentinel Console. If one workstation fails, the others can continue to operate.
Each Operations Sentinel workstation connected to an Operations Sentinel server runs its own instances of Operations Sentinel Console, providing a unique client environment for each user and a measure of resiliency against software failures. Multiple instances of Operations Sentinel Console connected to the same server use the same set of Operations Sentinel services.

In addition, any application on an Operations Sentinel workstation can connect to any of several Operations Sentinel servers.
