Operations Sentinel provides message-based automation for managed systems using site-defined databases of automation rules.

Operations Sentinel directly handles output messages from the system consoles of OS 2200 and UNIX or Linux systems. For MCP systems, Operations Sentinel handles messages sent through the Operations Sentinel Interface for MCP systems (MCP agent). When it matches a message to a pattern, Operations Sentinel automatically takes the actions appropriate for that message to facilitate unattended operation of the managed systems at your site.
