SP-AMS resides on an Operations Sentinel server and lets you automate your UNIX, Linux, and MCP systems. It performs actions as a result of matching patterns with the console messages it receives from these managed systems. One of these actions is generating event reports. These event reports can include information extracted from the matched message. See the Operations Sentinel Autoaction Message System Administration Guide for information on how to generate an event report from an SP-AMS action.

SP-AMS can produce all types of event reports.
