Processing
Log event reports cause messages to be logged by Operations Sentinel Logging. They are sent to the Operations Sentinel logging service and are written to a log file. The object name (INSTANCE) is the name of the log. The application name (APPL) determines how Operations Sentinel Logging treats the message. Messages that refer to the same object with different application names are written to the same log, but they may be enabled or disabled independently using the Administration mode of Operation Sentinel Console. See the Operations Sentinel Console Help.
Note: A log event report whose source (APPL value) has been disabled is discarded.
